Quick Thoughts on game 1

Dirty play and "lucky bounces"
Crosby came out after the game and told reporters that he hit Maltby with a two hander to hist foot after the game. Again we see dirty play from the so call golden boy of the NHL. Critics say that Pitt is better then last year, they have more experience and maturity then last year, well obviously not. After a game, slashing another player is not maturity, neither is Matthew Cooke's run at Holmstrom head after the whistle during a powerplay( an event that all the announcers on NBC thought was going to result in a penalty but did not). If this is the maturity and experience the Pittsburgh Penguins show all series, they will have trouble winning a game, let alone the whole thing.

Yes, the Wings first goal was a bit lucky, but Stuart would have never had the chance to throw the puck at net if Hal Gill had clear the puck properly.
And for the Wings second goal, Zetterberg threw it off the boards and Franzen got control of it and bounced it off Fleury and into the net.  Lets recognize great skill and a heads up play. In game one of the Chicago series, a Blackhawk threw it in front of the net hitting off Ericsson's skate and into the net, that was not lucky, but great skill.

The world of hockey fans just need to take a step back, breath deep, and not just see it if Crosby does not win its just the luck of the other team and recognize the great skill the Wings showed in game one.
